At HELB, safety and security are our top priorities. We've implemented multiple layers of protection to ensure a safe experience for both shoppers and travelers.

Secure Escrow System

  • Payments are held securely until delivery confirmation, protecting shoppers from fraud
  • Requests have already been paid for by the requester, so the travelers are protected
  • Refunds are processed quickly in case of issues

Communication Safety

  • In-app messaging system (no need to share personal contact info)
  • Dispute resolution process

  • Clear terms of service

Reporting and Moderation

  • Reviews all reported accounts within 24 hours
  • Takes immediate action on verified violations
  • Maintains a blacklist of banned users
  • Continuously improves our safety measures

Good Practices for Users ✨

As community members, here are a few things you can do to help protect yourself and others:

As a traveler, you can:

  • Verify the requester's identity and payment history
  • Take photos of the item and the packaging to confirm the item is as described
  • Keep records of the delivery and photo of receipt
  • Deliver the item to the agreed location and time

As a shopper, you can:

  • Make a reasonable request offer price and delivery time (~2 weeks from request date, >+10% of the item price)
  • Include as much information as possible in your request
  • Chat with the traveler in our platform to discuss the details of the delivery
  • Confirm receipt of the item before releasing the payment
